Came back! Really missed their pastrami! Still good their food! Same quality and taste! Really love and I been telling my friends the best pastrami in LA! Even with this heat their patio has big fan cooling down. Loved cool breeze and enjoyed eating there! Of course the cashier was super nice and friendly! There is water taps at the corner did not expect would be cold but it was very cool enough not needed ice. :) Next time wanna try hot dog!

After returning from vacation in New York, I felt disappointed, thinking I would never find a pastrami/brisket sandwich as good in LA. I searched and tried a few places, but they all let me down. But then I lucked out by finding this place. Holy crap! It's comparable to what I had in New York. I ordered the full pastrami brisket sandwich and, just for kicks, got an order of the burnt ends. The meat was 20/10 and completely satisfied my craving and exceeded way above my expectations. The only downside is the location. Parking is a hassle, and the neighborhood is a little questionable. Also, my pictures do not give this place the credibility it deserves.

I ordered takeout on the Holiday today and my order was ready at exactly the time promised . My steak was well done and silverware & napkins were inside the box without me asking. Only blemish was they forgot the normally standard lettuce & tomato for my sandwich.

hear ye hear ye my dudes! so I happened upon Johnny's because I confused it with Johnnie's in culver city, my mistake I must admit but no problems. this johnny's place SLAPS! rolled up and got the fries and pastrami sandwich. both are quite heavy but no issue as I was fiending for some meats! fries are easy to share in my humble opinions and the brisket in it is tasty and adds depth to the crinkly cut fries (my favorite as the extra grooves pack more flavor, that's basic geometry surface area for you!). pastrami sandwich...hmm VERY flavorful if I can remember but hard to remember as I finished it in a few seconds, it was that good! p.s. group next to me was talking about video games and mentioned stardew valley. I'm a big fan! made my day eavesdropping on them, good vibe!
